Disabled Extortion

He calls himself an advocate for the disabled? How about telling it like it is, another jerk figuring out how to screw hard working people out of their money under the guise of doing something good. Is not extortion the act of threatening to gain goods or money? Where does his extortion not fit the bill? If he was sincere, the changes could still be done for the benefit of the handicapped, but he's figured an angle to get rice whilst sitting on his ass. He even got HNN to toot his horn, that makes then about as illegitimate as him.

Digital Television

We are over a trillion dollars in debt, and the super competent people we have running our government are buying TV converter boxes so their constituents won't miss their soaps?

Farm Welfare CRP

Farm welfare: Millions of dollars every year are taken from school lunch programs and handed out to rich farmers to NOT FARM!! They get paid to sit on their butt. It's the CRP program that's been in effect for over 20 years.

While the original intent of the program may have been honorable, it has been abused and the reasons it was implemented in the first place have long since passed.

I personally know of an instance that a farm was purchased by an individual, the acreage was placed in the CRP program, the CRP payments actually made the payments on the farm. You, the taxpayer, bought a farm for these people and gave it to them..... FREE! If it happened once, you can bet your bottom dollar that it happened again.

Let's shut this program down and fire the idiot that keeps it going, contact the Dept of Agriculture today.

Madoff

The investors that originally invested with Madoff have since gotten their investment back plus huge interest payments, should not those interest payments be treated as stolen property?

Anything over the original investment figure should be confiscated and used to fund a relief fund for later Madoff investors that received very little or none of their investment back.

If your action causes the death of another person, would that not be considered manslaughter? If an investor commits suicide because of Madoff's theft, should not Madoff be charged with manslaughter?

Unemployment

Unemployment is way up, lots of good people without jobs....
Let's legalize drugs, tax them, let idiots overdose. That should open up the job market a bit, esp legalizing cocaine, lots of white collar jobs.

Terrorism

Would not the ideal way to battle terrorists in a community be to give the community incentive to clean itself? We cannot effectively battle terrorists conventionally, wiping out an entire village because of terrorism infiltration would give the next village incentive to cleanse itself. would it not?

Teen Pregnancy

With the increase in teen pregnancies again it's clear that so called "sex" education classes are not working.
Let's make it mandatory for all boys that reach the age of 15 to be temporarily sterilized by having their cords clamped.
When they wish to become a father and can show responsibility then the procedure can be reversed.
Sex education classes in our schools are good for another post, makes me laugh.
